and Music for Life offers an International Music
and Language Summer Course at
Moreton Hall. The course was founded in Spring
1997 and committed to providing training in both
music and foreign languages to students of all
ages, with a lower age limit of 10 years old and
no upper age limit (adults included).
The yearly course is located in a beautiful and
historical XV century Hall, set in spacious
grounds in countryside on the borders of Wales
and England.
The nearest major airport to Moreton Hall in
Weston Rhyn, Shropshire, is Liverpool John
Lennon Airport with a large number of low cost
direct flights from and to most main cities in
Europe and several direct flights from and to
the USA..
Although the preferred language of communication is English, it is nevertheless possible to learn and practise several European languages. The whole idea of the course is to use music to learn languages and to develop a pluri-lingual
mind around the making of music.Courses
Designed primarily for highly motivated
musicians with a level of musical knowledge
enabling them to derive maximum benefit from
high quality musical tuition, the course is open
to musicians preparing for national or
international exams or competitions, as well as
to skilled amateurs.
At the same time LMfL provides quality tuition
in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) as well
as in French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and
