The Heart of England Language School in Warwickshire, England, is an established school offering one to one tuition and small group courses for adults and children. We have over 15 years of experience of running English language courses, which combine tuition and tourism in the beautiful settings of Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa. We offer great value for money. Our English language courses are well organised and offer excellent tuition without being too expensive. Our teachers believe in building confidence and offer a wide range of skills as well as an in-depth knowledge of English teaching techniques.
Courses:- General English:
For students living in Coventry and Warwickshire we offer 1 3 hours per week or for students living outside the UK we offer 15 - 35 hour English courses in one week. Two, three and four-week courses are also available.
- Intensive English:
30 to 35 hours per week. Designed for hard working people who want to maximize their time and need rapid improvement in English.
- Business English:
The lessons enable the student to communicate effectively and confidently at work. Skills covered include: writing reports, letters, faxes and e-mails; presentation techniques; telephone English
negotiation and participation in meetings; social language.
- English for specific purposes
If you have a specific area of study that interests you we can plan a course around it. We have teachers who specialize in Marketing, Law, Tourism, the Food Industry, Airline English and much more.
We have experience of preparing students for many examinations including IELTS for university entrance, FCE, CPE and TOEFL, as well as foreign examinations in subjects such as Law. A short, intensive course could make all the difference to your results.
- English and activities
15 hours English tuition and 9 hours activities each week. You can make a real holiday with these programmes. We offer activities such as: horse riding in very beautiful countryside - with or without riding tuition; golf - with or without golf tuition; yoga; tennis including tuition; tourism; garden tours.
- English for children
Concentrating on building confidence and feeling able to use English on a daily basis. We can prepare children for Boarding School entry and offer support in English and throughout the curriculum for children who are resident in the U.K.
We also offer lessons in German, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian and Japanese.
Host Family Accommodation:
We have over 60 excellent host families in Leamington Spa, Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon who can provide bed, breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals for English language students.

Activities:Combine your Business English or General English course with afternoon activities. As well as the many fantastic attractions that we have in The Heart of England, we can offer intensive golf, tennis and horse riding courses. Horse riding is based at Waverley Polo and Riding Stables.
The stables offer riding holidays, tuition in show jumping, cross country and polo training. The horses are mostly home bred and so part of the family at the school. They have a mixture of younger and more mature horses. Along with your English tuition golf and tennis can be organized by local companies offering professional tuition. They provide an atmosphere of fun and constructive learning. For students of all ages the sports are accessible to everyone with the focus on having fun.
