There are 3 main class types - Private, Small Group, and Study and Stay. Also: Business English, Travel English, Internet English. Exam preparation also available for TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, and all Cambridge exams.

The school is in Fort Augustus, which is a small highland village. It is a beautiful place, quiet but with plenty of restaurants, pubs, and souvenir shops. It is situated on the Caledonian canal, which runs right across Scotland and it has a famous series of 'locks' - a kind of water staircase for boats. It is in the centre of the Scottish Highlands so is a very good base for seeing the rest of Scotland.

Horse riding, hiking and cycling

There are many hiking trails and cycle tracks in near Fort Augustus so it is easy to get out and enjoy the stunning local scenery.There are different grades, from easy to challenging, so there is something for everyone. This is a good way to spot local wildlife such as eagles, deer, and even pine martens. For cyclists, bicycle hire is available in the village if needed. Horse riding can easily be arranged and is a great way to enjoy the scenery. Suitable for beginners or more advanced riders.   White water rafting / Water sports
  Try this exciting sport at the nearby Monster Activity Centre. We can guarantee a thrilling ride at any time of the year. Or, for a quieter time, try canoeing or sailing. All these, and other outdoor sports, can easily be arranged after your lessons and take place close to the school    
  Short trips
  Fort Augustus is located in the centre of the Highlands so it is an ideal base for longer trips out to see other parts of Scotland. Here are some good places to visit.

Fort Augustus has plenty of places to stay. There are two excellent hotels, the 'Lovat Arms' and the 'Inchnacardoch Lodge', both close to the school. These are both traditional, comfortable, highland hotels, with welcoming owners. They have excellent restaurants, lounges, log fires (and central heating!), comfortable rooms, and well-stocked bars where you can sample malt whisky. All rooms are en-suite with phone, TV & radio, and tea and coffee facilities.
We can also arrange Bed & Breakfast accommodation at various prices and comfort levels, or if you are on a budget, there is even a backpackers' hostel.
Wherever you stay, your accommodation will be only a short walk from the school and near the town, where you will find shops, bars, and restaurants. We are sure you will be happy with the highland welcome you will receive.
