Academy Of The Holy Family:
The Academy of the Holy Family, an accredited Catholic secondary day and boarding school for young women, is located in the New England countryside, just two hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from NYC. Owned and operated by the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady, Mother of the Church, the Academy has a rich tradition of educating young women in excellence for over 130 years. While offering our students a challenging academic program which includes both honors and Advanced Placement courses, the Academy fosters a family spirit within its student body. Young women have opportunities to thrive in this nurturing atmosphere, thus being empowered to reach their full spiritual, intellectual, moral and social potential. FROM POINTS SOUTH (NEW YORK, ETC.)
Take New England Thruway to 95 North
Follow 95 North to 1-395 North (towards Norvich)
Take Exit 83 off 1-395
Take a left off Exit 83 onto Route 97.
Proceed about a mile on Route 97. At the Occum Market, turn left and make an
immediate right at the top of the hill. You will still be on Route 97 and will pass St.
Joseph Church
Stay on Route 97 for about 2.5 miles until you come to Route 207 in Baltic. On your left
is the Baltic Convenience Store. Take a left on Route 207.
The Academy is about .2 of a mile up the road on the left.
Drive in between the Academy and Immaculate Conception Church Park behind the
school.

FROM POINTS NORTH (MASSACHUSETTS, NEW HAMPSHIRE, ETC.)
Take 1-395 South to Exit 83.
Follow the directions above.

FROM POINTS WEST (HARTFORD, ETC.)
From Bradley Airport, take 9 1 south to Hartford.
In Hartford, take 84 East to the cut-off for Route 2 (Norwich/New London). This cut-off
is almost immediately after entering 1-84 from 1-91.
Follow Route 2 to Exit 27. Bear right on the connector towards Willimantic/Franklin
(Route 32).
Follow Route 32. You will see a sign for Baltic which
comes just before the Victorian House ( a large yellow antique shop). Take a sharp right
just before the antique shop.
At the end of this road, take a right onto Route 207.
The Academy is about one mile on Route 207, on the right.

Start out going NORTH on POST RD / US-1 toward ALHAMBRA RD.
Merge onto RI-37 W.
Merge onto I-295 N via EXIT 1B toward JOHNSTON.
Take the US-6 exit- EXIT 6A-B-C- toward HARTFORD CT. / PROVIDENCE
Take the US-6 W exit- EXIT 6C- toward HARTFORD.
Take the US-6 W ramp toward FOSTER. Merge onto HARTFORD AVE.
Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto HARTFORD AVE / HARTFORD PIKE / US-6 W.
Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto US-6 W (Crossing into CONNECTICUT).
Take GOVERNOR JOHN DAVIS LODGE TURNPIKE.
Take the CT-97 exit- EXIT 83- toward TAFTVILLE / OCCUM.
Turn LEFT onto TAFTVILLE OCCUM RD / CT-97.
Turn LEFT onto BRIDGE ST / CT-97.
Turn RIGHT onto BALTIC RD / CT-97. Continue to follow CT-97.
Turn LEFT onto W MAIN ST / CT-207
