 English Language Program at Everest College: Our ESL school is located in downtown Portland, Oregon; a beautiful, safe, affordable city. The Portland campus of Everest College was established in 1955. At Everest College you can earn diplomas and associates degree within 18 months. Upon completion of a course of 9 months or more, international students can work legally in the United States for 12 months. Our staff will help you with the process of obtaining an Optional Practical Training (OPT) Visa.
Our school features a large computer lab, a study library, indoor and outdoor student lounges, and large classrooms. Portland has a great bus and train system; you do not need a car to enjoy Portland. It is easy to visit the mountains and the beach from Portland. Portland has all the big city activities like concerts and sporting events, but it has a small town feel because it is friendly and so easy to get around. Students love Portland, Oregon.
Courses
Unique Intensive ESL, ESL+Volunteer, and ESL+Internship programs. Our Intensive ESL is a great way to obtain a high level of English in a short amount of time. Our ESL+Volunteer and ESL+Internship programs offer classroom instruction and 6+ hours per week of volunteer opportunities and specialized internships. For students with a medical background, we offer the ESL+Medical Internship Program.
At our school you will have many chances to practice your English with Americans inside and outside of the classroom. You will learn quickly and you will have a great time while you are here. New classes begin every 2 weeks.
Everest College has diploma and associate degree programs of study in the following career fields: Accounting, Computers, Justice, MedicaL, Office Technology, Paralegal, Pharmacy Technician, Travel.
