 Hawaii Palms English School offers beginner and
intermediate ESL English classes at our new
school in the center of Waikiki Beach. Waikiki
is a neighborhood of city of Honolulu, on the
south shore of the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. You will
be close to shopping, restaurants, and one of
the best known beaches in the world. We provide you with safe and convenient
accommodations and exciting activities, plus an
Island Adventure Program. Our top quality English
teachers are all native English speakers with many years of experience teaching
English as a second language to people all over
the world. All of our teachers are professional
and friendly. At Hawaii Palms
English School, we believe it is important to
have fun and study English at the same time.
 Vacation Study Programs: You only need a Tourist
Visa to study at Hawaii Palms English School.
(No student Visa needed.) Our programs are all
16 hours per week. So, if you come to Hawaii on
a Tourist Visa, you can still study English
"part-time" in one of our English Intensives or
our Special Summer Program.
Curriculum: We have ongoing English
Intensive lessons with a new term beginning
every month. You can take English Intensive
Group lessons for 4 weeks, 8 weeks, or 12 weeks,
according to your preference. Spring, summer,
fall and winter courses are available. We also
offer a Homestay Program - Stay with a Hawaiian
family.
Our courses cover the four
skills of speaking, listening, grammar, and
writing, as well as pronunciation and vocabulary
building. A special emphasis is placed on
speaking and listening. Our curriculum is based on the
most popular and most successful English course
in the world. The University of
Cambridge course textbooks are recognized as the
world's most successful English courses for
adult and young adult learners of English at the
beginning to intermediate levels.
We teach all four textbooks to four different
levels: Beginners, Upper Beginners, Low
Intermediate, and Intermediate Levels. Advanced
students use different textbooks and an emphasis
is placed on grammar, writing, and advanced
speaking activities.
