 Language Stars in Illinois provides fun, full
language immersion programs for children (ages 1-10)
in Spanish, French, Italian, German and Mandarin

Teaching Style: Language Stars makes
learning Spanish fun, through an engaging mix of
games, songs, puppet shows, arts & crafts,
cooking projects, treasure hunts, movement and
drama, all in the foreign language. Our unique
FunImmersion® method is the best way for
children to enjoy learning a foreign language.
We focus solely on a child's Window of
Opportunity, between birth and adolescence, to
absorb a foreign language naturally.

FunImmersion® ensures that native-speaking
teachers immerse children entirely in the target
language through music & movement, games,
projects, treasure hunts and other activities
that we have carefully tailored to each age
group and level to maximize learning and fun.

Programs: Play-based, full immersion programs in small groups of 4-8 children in Spanish, French, German, Italian and Mandarin Chinese in three exciting formats
(Kids Only, Parents & Tots, Summer Camp).
Kids Only: Children climb the Language
Stars Learning Ladder building valuable language
skills with each step up. Children absorb the
foreign language through interactive games, arts
& crafts, drama, puppet shows, singing, cooking
projects and more, presented entirely in the
foreign language. Children learn to communicate
actively in age-appropriate groups of 4-8
children. We track and communicate individual
progress regularly.
 3 to 5 Years: Programs meet once or twice
a week. We strongly recommend twice per week
programs to accelerate learning and provide
maximum reinforcement of new structures and
vocabulary.
5 to 8 Years: Programs meet once or twice
a week and we strongly recommend the
reinforcement of twice a week where possible.
8 to 10 Years (advanced): Programs meet once a week and are designed for
previous Language Stars with a solid base in the
language.
Parents & Tots: Toddlers and parents or
caregivers learn together, absorbing the foreign
language through a developmentally appropriate
mix of movement, songs, puppet shows, art
projects and more, presented entirely in the
foreign language.
1-3 Years: Where possible, we will tailor
our programs toward separate 12-24 month and 2-3
year age groups.
Summer Camp: Join us for fun and games
every morning! Children ages 3˝ to 8 years love
our indoor and outdoor activities including
water games, relay races, arts & crafts, cooking
projects, treasure hunts and interactive snack
time. We offer 3 additional types of summer

(3-6 hrs. per week, ages 3-5, 5-8 or 8-10).
Free Trial Class: We would love you and
your child to visit one of our centers to attend
a no obligation free class. We are confident
