Hello World Language Center's Program in NYC is for students who would like to comprehensively develop their English language skills while studying in an interactive language environment. Our program consists of many different courses of study in 9 different language choices, from grammar, reading and writing and conversation to electives like New York City Culture, Italian & Opera or ESL Health and Healing. You can choose to study full-time or part-time. You may also study in a semi-private or a private tutorial which can be customized not only to your language level but also to your schedule, which you and your friends create. Our full-time classroom environment consists of 18 credit hours, and allows you to receive I-20 certification. Through our comprehensive in-take process, students are placed in the appropriate level: Beginning, Intermediate or Advanced.

The idea of Hello World was first conceived by scholars teaching English in Asia in the early 1990's. Their basic belief was that learning a language meant more than learning grammar and vocabulary, syntax and substitution drills. We believe it includes an intense understanding and respect for culture and diversity.

Hello World Language Center is founded on student centered learning and in 1993 we moved to New York, a city with the most diverse mixing of languages and culture. We quickly established ourselves as a leader in the advancement of language teaching methodology and cultural awareness by offering our ESL, Foreign Language, TESOL Certification and Executive Learning programs along with an infinite number of customized courses. We've recently entered into a partnership with Barrington University where our students earn college credit toward a Bachelor's degree.

Full-time, part-time, intensive English language programs include Conversation, Grammar, Reading, Writing, TOEFL, Accent Reduction, Survival English, Cross Cultural Communication, Effective Public Speaking, ESL & English for everyday life, Business English Workshop, Computers & ESL, ESL & Media Studies, ESL & American History, ESL & Art and Appreciation, ESL & Health and Healing, ESL & World Religions, Independent Study.
