GEOS Language Institute is located in the heart of Manhattan, NY City, right inside the world famous Empire State Building. We are on the corner of 34th Street and Fifth Avenue, convenient to all public transportation.

Accreditation: GEOS Language Institute is accredited by ACCET, licensed by the New York State Department of Education, and authorized by federal law to enroll non-immigrant students.

Intensive English Courses: There are 6 different levels of study, from beginner to advanced levels. Our Intensive English Classes meet five days per week, for a total of 22 educational hours each week. Students work with 2 highly qualified teachers (one for the morning class and one for the afternoon class) and the most up-to-date, effective textbooks and materials available.

The GEOS Intensive English course features a comprehensive curriculum with a focus on oral communication - conversation skills (speaking) and listening skills, through creative learning activities, as well as covering and practicing the language skills of reading and writing. Students also learn grammar, vocabulary and idioms.

At the end of each 4-week session, each student will receive a written evaluation and have a one-on-one with one of their teachers. This is how we help you monitor your progress. After each 3 month semester, students receive a report card, and students receive a GEOS certificate when they finish their course.
