Romanian is an Eastern Romance language, spoken by over 28 million people, mostly in Romania and Moldova, where it is the official language, and in neighbouring countries including Hungary, Israel, Serbia & Ukraine. Romanian has, surprisingly perhaps, 77% lexical similarity with Italian and 75% with French. Romania itself offers majestic castles, medieval towns, great hiking and wildlife, and budget skiing and a great European cultural experience. Knowledge of Romanian will give you added independence when touring this beautiful country and region. SeattleLanguages International believes that learning a foreign language such as Romanian helps forge relationships between different cultures. We want to offer the opportunity of learning Romanian to people of all ages at affordable rates. We teach group classes & private lessons to adults, children & corporations.

We offer Romanian Classes at 6 different levels with native speaking instructors:
- Conversational Intro
- Traveler's classes
- Level 2
- Level 3
- Level 4
- Level 5

Our language instructors focus on improving conversational skills using discussions, role plays, stimulating speaking activities, vocabulary and grammar. Most of our classes are taught once per week for 2 hours each time.

Fees for our Romanian language programs:

- Group lessons cost around 10 – 12 USD / hour
- Private lessons:
35 USD /hour - 1student
45 USD /hour - 2 students
60 USD /hour - 3 students
