A.C.E. World Language Programs is committed to spreading International awareness and cultural understanding through foreign language education. A.C.E. World Language Programs incorporates cultural insights in its various curricula to achieve this goal. Our programs offer Seattle-area adults and children the opportunity to learn one or more of over 65 languages. WLP is part of A.C.E.'s committment to increasing international education and awareness, recognizing that international exchange benefits all participants. We have been instituting summer language camps throughout Washington schools for over 15 years!

World Language Programs (or a similar division) has been a part of A.C.E. since its inception over 35 years ago. Originally under the directorship of Ulrike Criminale and under the name "Customized Programs" we have progressed to offering more classes in any language imaginable!

Spanish programs for adults and children, School-based Program, Customized Program, Summer Language Camp.

We are constantly making additions to the program in order to reach out to the youth and community in any way we can. Currently we offer school based programs, customized programs, and summer language camps.

Teaching methodology:
The methodologies we use are "The Natural Approach", "The Communicative Approach", and "Total Physical Response", focusing on communication rather than language form. We follow the natural pattern of first language acquisition when teaching a second language, allowing comprehension to precede speech production. Our teachers are either native speakers or have an equivalent command of the language, having lived and worked or studied abroad. They enjoy incorporating cultural elements into the lessons.

- Introduce vocabulary and phrases through authentic, engaging activities.
