ESL Summer School in Texas, USA

Crossing Borders, Spring:
Crossing Borders has been the leader in language and cultural education for over 10 years! Crossing Borders is located in Spring / The Woodlands, TX, just north of Houston, and offers Spanish classes for either adults and children in group and private settings. We also offer summer English (ESL) and Spanish camps as well as French summer programs! Our summer programs are for participants from around the corner, or around the world aged between 4-17 years. Our English and Spanish summer camps are now also offered in San Antonio and McAllen.

CBG Summer Language Camps are designed to give students high quality second language instruction regardless of age, or fluency level. Students participate in several language classes from grammar and reading to conversation.

Spanish Summer Camp:
Give your children the opportunity to learn or improve their Spanish in a multicultural program. They will not only learn Spanish but also be part of cooking lessons, art lessons, and learn traditional games and songs all in the target language!

English Summer Camp:
Crossing Borders Group also offers a unique English language training program for international students. The school also serves as an excellent transitional experience for the international student entering school in the United States for the first time or for students that want to experience an unforgettable American experience. Upon arrival, each international student is tested in reading, writing and conversation. Following the testing program, students are assigned by level and age group.

The ESL Program:
English as a Second Language (ESL) is taught at the beginning, intermediate and advanced level. Because many international students will be entering schools in the United States in the fall, every effort is made to integrate international students into the American culture and prepare them for everyday life in the United States. Lots of conversation takes place in each level.

Classes include: American Culture, American Songs and Games, English Grammar, English Conversation and Listening Skills. For the younger students, there is also lots of Art, Activities and Games.

2011 English (ESL) Immersion Winter Camp:
Crossing Borders can help you surpass your goals this winter with our innovative programs. Our English Winter Program has very specific goals while creating dynamic, energetic classes emphasizing on English Immersion focusing in improving your conversation, reading & comprehension, listening and experiencing American life in Texas. We will exceed your expectations! Crossing Borders is committed to have our students reach their full potential.

Levels Served:
From the very basic, colors, numbers, shapes and basic communication to very advanced students that have the privilege of being in a bilingual school in their country and coming to Crossing Borders for that extra immersion and mainly to improve their communication skill in an American environment. On the first day, each international student is tested in reading, writing and conversation. Following the testing, students are grouped by level and age. During the time that the student is in the program they will have quizzes to see their evaluation. Certificate of completion will be given on your child’s last day in the program.


Other Programs Offered:
We also offer summer camps in Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese and French as well as Spanish camps at Christmas and Spring Break.
