Since Balance in Life is one of the five core values of our school program, SSIS offers a varied program of extra-curricular activities throughout the school year. Activities include sports such as soccer, basketball, softball, volleyball, swimming and cross country. SSIS fields teams for sporting events with local area schools and for MRISA {Mekong River International Schools Association] events both inside and beyond Vietnam. Students also have opportunities to participate in such activities as Dance, Drama, music lessons [including guitar, drums, piano and violin], set design, cooking, debate, martial arts, ping pong, badminton, rock band, the great movies club and the great books club. Extra Curricular are supervised by teachers, teachers assistants and volunteer parents and are great opportunities to meet new friends, learn new skills and to explore and develop new talents. We strongly encourage all of our students to participate in the extra curricular activities program.
