 Massage Therapy Training Institute (MTTI) is a nationally accredited massage therapy school in Kansas City, Missouri, and has been focused on Massage therapy and natural health since 1988. While massage at many schools is "just another program", at MTTI it is our total reason for being. This focus provides a very different learning environment and one that produces graduates with much more than just technical skills. At MTTI, students learn to become true healing arts professionals. The school is nationally accredited by ABHES, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and approved to operate by both the Missouri Department of Higher Education and the Kansas Board of Regents. MTTI's programs are designed to meet the needs of a variety of students, including those seeking careers in the natural healthcare field, those who are already practicing and need to sharpen their skills, and those who are simply interested in learning more about natural health and wellness disciplines. Currently, MTTI offers two diploma programs, and a rich array of workshops, seminars and continuing education courses.
One of the most attractive aspects of becoming a professional massage therapist is the versatility it offers, including the choice of either full-time or part-time employment. While many graduates choose to work in their own businesses, as a private practitioner, the majority seek more structured employment situations typically offered by day spas, health clubs, hospitals, retirement centers and doctor's offices.
Programs- Massage Therapy Certification Program: is 750 hours in length. This program is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in theory, technique and business practices.
- Fitness Training and Wellness Certification Program: this 300-hour Fitness Training & Wellness Certification Program is designed to enable its graduates to counsel clients in developing a healthier lifestyle.
