University Study Programs in Chile

International Office of the Universidad de Viña del Mar - OIIE UVM:
Located in Viña del Mar on the Pacific coast of Chile, north of Valparaiso and 140 kilometers west of Santiago, the International Office of the Universidad de Viña del Mar - OIIE UVM offers a wide range of study abroad and cultural immersion programs for international students. As an official DELE (Spanish as a second language diploma) examination center, international students can participate in traditional programs such as semester and year-long study programs as well as summer and winter short term programs. UVM also offers GAP programs where students visit regular term courses.

Intensive Spanish courses for non native Spanish students are given through the Center for Spanish as a Second Language. The Center for Business Studies offers Global Business courses taught in English. Ethnic studies can be taken at the Center for Contemporary Latin American Studies and Research. Students can also participate in international internships through the Center for Global Workforce Development.
