School of Medicine in Puerto Rico
Ponce School of Medicine is entering its 26th year
of existence with a strong record in research and education.
Accreditation on through the academic year 2008-09 has served as the
impetus for our school to tackle our biggest challenge: to diversify
our sources of income by expanding our services. New ventures in
health care services will commence this year that promise to permit
the school to emerge as one of the leading providers of medical and
mental health services in Puerto Rico. The
school has also expanded its investigative horizons with additional
external funding. Our
students are increasingly receiving recognition through appointments
to the best training programs, postdoctoral positions, and jobs.
We
welcome applicants to all our programs and assure them that they
will not be disappointed with what we have to offer.
