International Diploma in Spanish (D.I.E.)
The Spanish Department of the FIDESCU Foundation has developed an International Diploma in Spanish (DIE) following the guidelines and directions indicated by the European Council for the learning, teaching and assessment of languages. These exams are available to anyone who would like formal recognition of the level of their oral communication in Spanish. The 10 levels of the DIE range from elementary to superior with the latter indicating a total command of the language.
The DIE examinations deal with real life experiences and the correct use of Castilian while taking into account the diverse accents and expressions used in the different Hispano-American countries. The determining factors for the correct evaluation of the candidate are understanding, fluency of expression,
correct grammar, pronunciation and reading.
