Istanbul Bilgi University:
Bilgi, established 15 years ago, is one of the leading universities of Turkey offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs to International Students in the social sciences, economics, business, communications, the arts and law. The language of instruction, except in the Law Faculty, is English. Bilgi is an associate member of the European University Association(EUA) and a member of the international association of Universities(IAU).Also, Bilgi is part of Laureate International Universities Network.

International students can study at İstanbul Bilgi University for one semester or academic year as exchange students based on the agreements between their home universities and BİLGİ. Full Exchange students can come under the Erasmus, Erasmus Link and Bilateral Exchange Programs. The application and admission procedures as well as support services for exchange students are managed by the International Office

Istanbul Bilgi University began to participate in the Erasmus Program during the 2004-05 academic year. As Bilgi provides its students with an opportunity to live and study in Europe in order to broaden their educational and cultural horizons, it also welcomes international students from European countries under the framework of the Erasmus Program. For this purpose, many Bilgi departments have established Erasmus partnerships with their counterparts at numerous distinguished European universities. Students who participate in the Erasmus Program may spend between three months and a full academic year at Bilgi.

Accommodation:
Istanbul Bilgi University operates residential halls for men and women located at the mouth of Golden Horn in the heart of the city, offering a variety of room choices: two, four and six person bedrooms. The dormitory is equipped with kitchenettes, laundry facilities, a TV room, and computer and study rooms. Daily room cleaning and simple breakfast are also provided.

Student Job Program:
On-campus student employment is available for international students. Students have the choice of working in one of many departments, working closely with faculty members and administrators on various projects or services for the university community. Current positions include working as an administrative aide or assisting in the library, computer labs, student dormitories, music or TV studios, student affairs, the research center, faculty offices, or in university administration offices.

Istanbul Bilgi University's Dolapdere campus is just 15 minutes walking distance from Taksim Square, the main square in modern İstanbul. Scheduled university shuttles can also drop you off at this center of culture and entertainment.
