At ALA, we recognize that each child is an individual. We provide customized instruction for students at all levels, with course content tailored to suit their learning style, interests, and educational goals.
Each student is continuously assessed to ensure that they are working at their level and on their individual educational path.
We use the the Renzulli Learning System which is designed to allow students to apply, deepen, and extend their learning. There are more than 40,000 online educational resources in the Renzulli database.
Each student takes a detailed online questionnaire which allows the Renzulli software to generate a personal profile of their learning styles, interests, and expression styles.
Students can engage in self-directed learning by exploring safe, fully-vetted resources that have been specifically matched to their individual profiles.
In addition, teachers can easily find activities that align to specific skills, objectives, or state and Common Core Standards.
For a fraction of the cost of a top private school, ALA offers a top-rated curriculum, certified teachers, a mentoring program, and college placement services.
