Sunland Christian School, San Fernando Valley:
Sunland Christian School (SCS) is an accredited California private school based in San Fernando, Los Angeles in California offering homeschool (Preschool through 12th grade), correspondence homeschooling and online homeschool to families throughout California, the United States, and foreign countries. SCS was the program involved in the California ruling, declaring homeschooling legal in California.

Accountability is a valuable part of Sunland Christian School's (SCS) successful home school program and is the heart of our services. This, along with record keeping, testing and discussions with the parents, allows us to supervise and assist in the home schooling process. Terry and Laura Neven are committed to provide support and encouragement without being overbearing.

While SCS is a Christian program, we enroll any family desiring assistance. We require families respect our values and raise and educate their children to become moral, upstanding citizens. Besides the traditional Christian homeschool family, every type of family uses this program (actors, athletes, lawyers, teachers, single parents and politicians).
