The Orient Espresso provides great beds, great food and great coffee. Our Hostel gives you a friendly, clean and safe environment and is central to everything you might want to see in London.
WE NOW HAVE A BRAND NEW MASSIVE CHILL OUT ROOM 3 minutes down the street at St. Christopher's Village, with Big Screen TV, playstation, relaxing couches and beanbags. We also have a Free tour of central London each Friday afternoon.
The Hostel allows guests a more relaxing and intimate experience with smaller rooms situated above the Orient Espresso Coffee shop and Internet Café (where all guests receive a 10% discount). Suitable for school parties, educational groups or touring sports teams, this is an unlicensed premise that can cater for up to 36 people. The Orient is located just down the street from our main location, St. Christopher’s Village, whose facilities you are entitled to access. These include use of the Roof Top Hot Tub, laundry facilities, Belushi’s bar and St. Christopher’s pub (for those who are old enough to drink!), the entertainment on site and the 24-hour reception desk.
Situated near the London underground (London Bridge Tube Station), mainline train networks (London Bridge Rail Station) and 24 hour bus routes, it is the perfect base to explore England’s capital city and beyond, with ease. Or you can simply take a short walk and explore the South Bank on foot. Visit Tower Bridge and the Tower of London or St. Paul’s Cathedral, see Tate Modern Gallery, the London Dungeon, Big Ben and the Parliament Buildings, the historic Borough Market, and the streets used in the newest Harry Potter movie, or just walk along the Thames River only a few minutes away.
A stay at the Orient Espresso offers travellers quality accommodation (free continental breakfast, multiple washrooms and showers on each floor and fresh linen and bedding provided free of charge), top in-house entertainment (BBQs, karaoke and DJs), security (electronic swipe card access, CCTV, in room lockers and 24 hour reception) and comfort at unbelievably low rates.
Other services we provide include free hot showers, music in Belushi’s bar, Tours and travel products, games and chill out rooms, and a 10% discount on food and drink for residents.
There is no curfew in operation, rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, you can choose from 2-bed rooms up to 8-bed rooms and we have friendly staff. We even have job agency contacts!

The Reception to The Orient Espresso is located in The Village, our main
hostel just 100 meters up the road, on 165 Borough High Street.
FROM HEATHROW
Take the Piccadilly line to Green Park change on to the Eastbound Jubilee
Line to London Bridge. Take the Borough High St Exit escalators to Street
level, and turn left we are less than a 5min walk.
FROM VICTORIA
Take the circle and district line Westminster change on to the Eastbound
Jubilee Line to London Bridge. Take the Borough High St Exit escalators to
Street level, and turn left we are less than a 5min walk.
FROM GATWICK
Take the Train to London Bridge Station exit via the exit for the Taxis or
Buses
Follow the Bus Bay in the same direction as the traffic to the Traffic
Lights, This is Borough High St. Turn Left walk Past the next traffic lights
aprox 5min.
FROM STANSTEAD
Train to Liverpool Street. Central line to Bank, change onto Northern line
and one stop to London Bridge. Take the Borough High St Exit escalators to
Street level, and turn left we are less than a 5min walk.
FROM WATERLOO
Take Jubilee line two stops to London Bridge, Take the Borough High St Exit
escalators to Street level, and turn left we are less than a 5min walk.
FROM LUTON:
Take the Thameslink Train from Luton Station Direct to London Bridge. exit
via the exit for the Taxis or Buses Follow the Bus Bay in the same direction
as the traffic
to the Traffic Lights, This is Borough High St. Turn Left walk Past the next
traffic lights aprox 5min.
In order to Reserve a room or bed, you must have
a valid debit or credit card for this secure online booking system. You
will be asked to pay a 10% deposit online and the remaining 90% on
arrival at the accommodation.
