The Harlem YMCA's Claude McKay Residence has 235 rooms and is clean, safe and affordable. The rooms are single or double occupancy and all have TV and refrigerator. 24 hour security and daily housekeeping service are also provided. Shared bath facilities are conveniently located on each corridor.
Guests are also entitled to use the Health and Wellness Center, including heated swimming pool, weight room and Cardiovascular and Strength Training Center.

DIRECTIONS
The Harlem YMCA is approximately 15-20 minutes by underground metro from
midtown Manhattan. Take either the #2 or #3 train to 135th Street. Walk 2
blocks on Lenox Avenue to the YMCA.
From JFK International Airport, take the New York Airport Service bus to Port
Authority Bus Terminal (42nd St. Times Square). Cross the street on 8th
Avenue and take the M10 bus uptown to 135th Street. Or take the #2 or 3 train
to 135th Street & Lenox Avenue. The YMCA is located between Lenox Avenue &
St. Nicholas Avenue.
In order to Reserve a room or bed, you must have
