We are a premium European-style budget Hotel which welcomes international and domestic guests year-round, and our central café offers nutritious and economical meals to members and guests.
We offer simple comfort! Our rooms have televisions and shared bathrooms. A complimentary continental breakfast for registered Hotel guests is offered in the cafe from 7:30am until 10:30. Full use of the health and fitness facilities is free with your stay.
We are located in the Civic Center close to all major transportation and attractions.
We ask that children aged 16 and under stay in a room with bath facilities.

DIRECTIONS
The Central YMCA is located at 220 Golden Gate Avenue, at the corner of
Golden Gate & Leavenworth.
Airport Shuttle: For as little as $14 per person an airport shuttle will
pick you up and deliver you to either the San Francisco Airport or the YMCA
Hotel, within 45 minutes.
BART and MUNI Metro (J, K, L, M & N lines): Civic Center Station/7th Street
at Market. Exit the station onto the UN Plaza. Turn back, and walk past the
fountain, turning left up Leavenworth Street. Cross McAlister Street, and
walk one more block to Golden Gate Avenue. Cross Golden Gate Avenue, turn
left, and the entrance to the Central YMCA is on your right.
MUNI Streetcars and Buses Civic Center Station/7th Street at Market F- Line
from Castro District to Pier 39.
Driving Directions from SFO Airport:
Take Highway 101 North.
Take the Ninth Street exit toward Civic Center, merging onto 9th Street.
Continue on 9th until you cross Market Street - following the street
slightly right onto Larkin Street.
Turn right on Golden Gate.
Turn left on Leavenworth St. A yellow PARKING sign will indicate the parking
lot on your left.
In order to Reserve a room or bed, you must have
a valid debit or credit card for this secure online booking system. You
will be asked to pay a 10% deposit online and the remaining 90% on
arrival at the accommodation.
