The Adelaide has an excellent downtown location, only two blocks to Union Square in the middle of San Francisco’s main shopping and theatre districts. We are close to all major tourist attractions like Alcatraz prison, Union Square, the famous San Francisco Cable Cars, ChinaTown, Fishermans Wharf, Castro Street and of course the famous Haight Ashbury district.
All of these attractions are only a short walk or bus ride from the Adelaide Hostel.
If you are coming to San Francisco for a conference in the Convention Center we are only a five to ten minute walk from the Moscone Convention Center.

DIRECTIONS
The Adelaide Hotel and Hostel is located in Downtown San Francisco less than
a block from Union Square we are at 5 Isadora Duncan lane which is a small
Street located between Geary Street and Post Street and just off Taylor
Street.On some maps our street is called Adelaide Street or Adelaide Place
before it was renamed, Isadora Duncan Lane in honour of the famous actress
Isadora Duncan who was born in and lived in the Adelaide Hotel before she
became the American queen of song and dance.
We have held on to the name Adelaide in honour of the city in from where we
got our name.
In order to Reserve a room or bed, you must have
a valid debit or credit card for this secure online booking system. You
will be asked to pay a 10% deposit online and the remaining 90% on
arrival at the accommodation.
