All rooms are air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter, we provide our clients with big lockers equipped with lock and key for their valuables. You will find a free WI-FI hotspot in the common room as well as free usage of our computers in the lobby. All the bed linens are provided for free of charge, along with a bath towel. Comfortable couches in the lobby with a LCD wide screen TV for those who want a kick back and relax allowing our clients to meet an eclectic selection of people from all over the world.

The only rules we have are: to leave empty the hostel from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. so we can clean the hostel; we also ask to not make any noise after 11 p.m. so we can let our guests rest. Since we hold the security of your belongings in high regard, we provide you with big lockers, a lock and a key and would appreciate it if you do not lose the keys, if not we are forced to fine you ( 5 euros ).

Rooms: Cheap accommodation in Florence shouldn't compromise on comfort. The city is a busy and hectic place so it's important for us at Academy Hostels to do as much as possible to ensure our guests can get a comfortable night sleep. You will find the Academy Hostels amazingly quiet for being located in the center of Florence but at the same time, for the ones who want to enjoy Florence nightlife, you will find restaurants, bars, clubs and the best spots in town within a few minutes walking distance. We encourage our clients who are looking for a good time to wonder the streets with your new found friends and not make the hostel a bar, if we wanted a bar in the hostel we would have put one up

Cancellation: Cancellations must be notified directly to the accommodation provider at least 72 hours prior to arrival; unless otherwise stated above. If a cancellation is requested, your card will be charged for the first nights accomodation. In the event of a NO SHOW, your card will be charged for the first nights accommodation total.

For any changes to an existing reservation, please contact the accommodation provider directly. Modifications to the booking will not be allowed upon arrival unless it enters the 72 hour period. If any changes will be made there will be a fine , the cost of a days accommodation. Please be informed that the hostel has a minimum two nights policy. Cancelations on the first night will not be allowed as a modification to your booking.

Expiration of credit card : Should your credit card expire or your credit card details change prior to arrival, please contact the accommodation provider directly with the amended details.

The Youth Hostel Villa Camerata in Florence, is part of the Hostelling International association of Hostels in Italy.

The Villa containing the hostel dates from the 15th century and is within a huge green park. But that\'s not all. The garden that surrounds it is a very precious botanical garden containing rare and unusual essences of vegetables, patiently cared for by the elderly owner.

The room with private bathroom, means, at the Tourist House Santa Croce, washbowl and toilette. The shower is outside (shared). If you want is completely private ( with the shower inside) just book it and send us an email and we will take note and keep for you a room in the other location (part of the main place) wich is only 5 minutes distant from the Tourist House Santa Croce.
