Jumbo Stay offers 27 comfortable rooms with either two bed, three bed or also 4 bed dormitory style. All together, the hostel offers 76 beds; the most luxurious is to be found on the plane´s upper deck which boasts an exclusive cockpit suite with private ensuite bathroom and toilet. The rooms are approxiamately six square meters in size and measure nearly four meters from floor to ceiling.

Each room has a flat screen TV where you can, among other things, watch the times of the departures and arrivals. Everywhere in the jumbo jet you have access to wireless broadband. Jumbo Stay is also equiped and fitted with eight modern bathroom and toilet facilities on the main deck, which are also accessible for handicaped guests.

Jumbo Stay is open and staffed 24 hrs around the clock by one of the Jumbo crew members, to make it convienient for guests leaving and arriving at different times. We also sell light snacks and beverages at our Jumbo Cafe, and for those who have brought their own food with them we have two microwave ovens available for your convenience.

It is centrally located in the middle of Stockholm only 2 stops with subway from Central Station where all airport buses arrives.

Just outside the door you find all kind of small shops, cafés and resturants which give the characteristics to Vasastan. Hard Rock Café is located 100 meters away. After finnishing your Burger or Fajitas you can relax in the famous Stockholm Town Library reading newspapers from all over the world, and it's free! If you didn't stop for a bite at Hard Rock Café you can find famous resturants at Odenplan.

It is also just a few minutes walking distance to Stockholm School of Economics and Royal Institute of Technology, two of of the most famous Universities in Europe. One more minute and you reach Stockholm Olympic Stadium for a football game or Bruce Springsteen concert.

We have a mix of Private rooms and small dormitories. We offer Private Single-, Twin-, triple-, Quad- and 6-bedded rooms. Dorm sizes are 4- and 6-bedded.

Best Hostel Old Town is Stockholm's most centrally situated hostel. Everything that the city has to offer in the form of attractions and entertainment is within walking distance.

Outside the entrance at Stortoget, there are several restaurants and cafés to choose from - most offering outdoor seating. The Royal Palace, Nobel Museum and Storkyrkan (Stockholm Cathedral) are our closest neighbours. Boats to Djurgården with Gröna Lund amusement park and Skansen zoo are just a few minutes away by foot.

Best Hostel Old Town is the perfect starting point for any family - small or large - that is ready to explore the city.

During the day, the main square of Old Town, known as Stortorget, is bursting with life with crowds of visitors from all over the world. Late in the evening and throughout the night, the area is peacefully calm and quiet, largely due to lack of vehicle traffic and the fact that the restaurants of Stortorget are closed by midnight at the latest.

We are proud to offer freshly renovated facilities in a building that dates back to the 1600s.

Our hostel can accommodate 40 guests, with rooms that have 2, 3, 4 or 6 beds and span two floors. The rooms are bright and fresh with large windows. All beds have proper spring mattresses and overlay mattresses. Showers and WCs are found on each floor. We have both wireless and network socket with 24 Mbit in every room and guest computers in common areas. Downstairs, there is a multi-purpose room containing computers with Internet connection (installed September 2007) and a fully fitted guest kitchen. Air conditioning and TV will be installed in most rooms during autumn 2007.

Our primary goals are to live up to our name and to provide the highest quality at a reasonable price.

City BackPackers Hostel, Stockholm, Sweden

City Backpackers is the base camp for the Stockholm explorer. If you like meeting new people, you will have the time of your life here! The location is the best possible in the city centre - safe and quiet, although only a 500 meter walk from the central railway station and bus terminal. Most of the city's sights, including the Old Town, can be found within walking distance, and the main shopping street, Drottninggatan, is just around the corner.

City Backpackers is designed to be a great meeting place, where you are guaranteed to meet and hang out with other travellers from all over the world if you want to.

You can stay in a single or twin room, or a dorm with three, four, five, six, eight, eleven or 12 beds. Female dorms are provided. We also have two apartments/studios for up to six people with private bathroom, shower and kitchen.

We have several common areas where you can hang out and meet other travellers: A large, fully-equipped guest kitchen and a new cozy in-house backpacker café with breakfast options and a great variety of sandwiches, cookies, snacks and hot and cold drinks all day long. When you want to relax there is a hot sauna and lounge areas with satellite TV, daily newspapers and a book exchange available. You can also borrow a DVD with some of the best ever Swedish films, with English subtitles. The hostel also keeps a nice courtyard at your disposal. Smoking is allowed in the yard, but nowhere else.

Our staff takes turns showing Stockholm to our guests. Winter season we offer a very popular and incomparable Viking sauna tour in a nearby frozen lake. All year we arrange picnics, tours and adventures several times a week.

City Backpackers has an environmental-friendly approach. We practice waste recycling, use electricity from renewable sources, energy efficient whitewares and light bulbs, and have an over all environmental policy. We love our planet and want to save it!

The Red Boat Mälaren, Stockholm, Sweden

The Red Boat Mälaren is a cozy river side hostel aboard two lovely boats in the heart of Stockholm, within walking distance of everything.

It is located where Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea meet, where you can watch boats passing through the lock, take a stroll down the small alleys in the historical Old Town only five minutes walk from the boat, or you can have a beer in one of several pubs on Södermalm.

Staying at our hostel you can choose to have a calm and relaxing time or enjoy an eventful stay full of happenings. You can spend the days in one of many shopping areas. If you get tired of that you can visit any of the museums or art galleries close by. During the evening you can go from one pub/club to another without having to spend a lot of time or money getting from one place to another. We also have a small bar in the Hostel reception where we serve beer and wine if you just prefer to stay on the hostel.

Our reception is open from 7.30am to 01.00am. Late check in is possible. The hostel is staffed 24/7. When the main doors are locked in the night you will receive a code when you check in, so that you can come and go as you please. (No curfew).

We will serve you a breakfast buffet every morning between 7.30 and 10.00am In the weekdays and between 08.00 and 11.00 in the weekends. (This is not included in the quoted prices.)

We have beds in 10, 4, 3, 2 and single bed rooms. We are sorry to inform you that we do not have cooking facilities due to the risk of fire, but we do have a cafeteria. Showers and toilets are in the corridor for our hostel guests. Before you check in or after you leave you can keep your luggage in our luggage room.

We have internet access for our guests free of charge if you use your own computer on our WIFI-net or at a small cost if you choose to use our guest computer.

There is a parking lot near by us.
