KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & TASKS Develop optical systems to meet customer specifications and other market regulations. Improve and develop optical design methodologies for the enhancement of design productivity and capability. Participate and/or manage directly the development of new optical technology. Define the mechanical design of our product line that meets our Customer’s requirements, legal constraints and design for manufacturing assembly processes. Maintain and improve CAD skills (CATIA V5 R19 / UGNX 7.5) Participate in customer, internal and global team meetings as required. | Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Experience with CAD systems (CATIA V5 preferred). Advanced ability in the design of automotive exterior lighting technologies. Experience with non-imaging optics and photometric measurement systems. Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail. Project management skills. Team player. Confident and able to interact with individuals at all levels of authority. English language proficiency, spoken and written. Excellent presentation skills. |
