 we have a job opening in our client company (Leading Project Management Consulting Company) for their hospital / healthcare project for location Kuwait.Designation: Healthcare Expert (Design Manager) Location: Kuwait Experience: 12 - 15 yrs Qualification: Degree in Architecture Summary of requirement: The Healthcare Expert (Design Manager) is responsible for the design and planning of hospital in accordance with the healthcare codes and international standards and managing all architectural and engineering design activities and design contracts for the team. All design management and design coordination will report to the Design Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor the performance of the design correctness and completeness as well as compliance with the brief. Ensure that the brief is up to date. • Ensure that the Design Consultant(s) has considered the requirements as stated in the project brief • Manage the Engineers and Architects in the Project Management Team in respect of design • Evaluate variation orders/concessions • Attend all meetings with Design Consultant(s), his Sub-Consultants and Client’s Meetings relating to design • Review and comment on all drawings and documents submitted by Design Consultant and ensure compliance with brief • Ensure timely submittals to all government departments until obtaining the final permit necessary to proceed with the works until final completion • Review and report to the Project Executive all Design Consultant(s) monthly reports including area of concern and recommended plans of actions • Review the project strategy and provide recommendation to the Project Executive • Lead the PM disciplines in reviewing Tender Documents for completeness prior to issuing to Bidders • Propose alternative materials/systems to improve the design operation, future maintenance and construction cost • Ensure all project documents are controlled, recorded and filed as per contract requirements • Verify and amend as necessary minutes of meetings issued by Project Manager technical disciplines | |
