1. Purpose of Position
Sourcing Advisory Services is part of the core business of leading Consultancy firm. Within this domain, their Advisors are predominantly working as part of small teams on customer projects to provide sourcing advisory services to customer internal organisation with the objective of designing sourcing strategies, implementing sourcing transaction and establishing the appropriate governance structure. Customer transactions are typically large multi-year deals (50m€ and beyond) that are often complex, international and strategic and may heavily impact the company’s top line, risk position and profitability.

The Principal  will be responsible and accountable as part of an engagement team to deliver the consulting services as defined in the professional services agreement and the respective client. The position reports to the Consultant Manager for Spain and within engagements to the nominated Project Director.
2. Location of Role
Each programme will be sited in the client defined location, invariably often away from the office in Madrid. Therefore, to best serve the opportunity the Principal  will be expected to work away or from the office, as appropriate. Not working on client site, the Individual will be working in Madrid office.

3. General Qualifications, Skills and Experience
It is expected that a Principal will have the following general qualifications, skills and experience.
 Minimum of 8-10 years in a management function related to IT, procurement function or Business Process domain of a global company
 Very good understanding of medium to large international transactions in the Business Process and/or IT domain, with preference in an outsourcing context
 Demonstrated strength and experience in working with medium to large Spanish or international corporations or strategic corporate functions or client relationships in Spanish and abroad.
 Demonstrated excellence in project management, people management, interpersonal communication, and organisational skills.
 Experience in business unit management experience, including contract or commercial management.
 Solid demonstrated Project Management skills, strong understanding of aspects of planning, budgeting, scheduling, client relations, and project delivery.
 Very good knowledge of relevant outsourcing methodologies
 Good Financial understanding, analytical understanding of complex business models
 Ability to do business case engineering from both the company’s and the customer’s perspective
 Excellent language skills in at least English. Spanish as a third language is a plus. (oral and written proficiency)
 Leadership / Change management skills

 Excellent interpersonal/ networking skills up to CXO level; negotiation and presentation skills
 Ability to work independently to meet agreed objectives and targets

 Demonstrated strong working knowledge with MS-Office suite of software application, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant Project Management and communications tools.
 Solid prior experience in financial modeling, RFP creation, contract negotiations and post signature contract administrative actions.
 Recognized potential to grow into the role of a Project Director
