An "Experienced and Prolific", online writer/ journalist is required immediately for the role of Copywriter & Content Administrator - a full-time salaried position in a leading online web directory company based in Ireland since 2003. This full-time, 40 hour week role will be performed within a successful team working from one's home location.

Candidates contacted will be required to perform a number of short trials to illustrate their ability to generate quality content (advertisements) or articles on a range of topics relating to all kinds of education areas, and some specific health, career & travel-related subjects. A very high standard of native English language skills is required. A mastery of punctuation and grammar, and a diverse vocabulary is Essential.

The candidate will mainly create the content within the set programs used by our company to pass the content up the publishing chain within the team, and will work with/report daily to team management on VOIP software.

This is a long-term position for the right candidate who completely understands what is involved in a high-pressure, production-based environment, and how a business survives on productivity and quality. The candidate needs to have a set goal and the desire to work hard in the coming years and be rewarded for it. The successful candidate will have an intensive training period (salaried) of 6-12 months in order to learn the hundreds of subtleties required to be a successful web writer within this company.

This position may be ideally suited to those who created their own site or blog in the past, worked for a newspaper publisher or advertisement publisher, or perhaps ran an online business, and now wish to work from their own base and earn consistent salary income long-term within a results-driven, successful Irish company.  Earlier life/ work experience in a tough environment abroad or in a factory/ production-based work environment (including as a student) would be very helpful to the successful candidate. The candidate may have additional skills that will lead to tasks that supplement the writing, review and editing roles (For example, depending on the candidate's technical approach, ability and flexibility, the successful candidate may also write texts for user assistance on the site.)

It is important to note that full-time dedication is required, with standard office hours (40 hour week). Over-time/ weekend work is additionally possible for a candidate wanting to maximize earnings in these tough economic times. School runs etc. for parents can also be worked-around.
