The role will involve the design, development and maintenance of motion video drivers and tools. Primary products being developed includes high definition multi-standard decoders and encoders. The role also involves close collaboration and involvement with the hardware design teams developing cutting edge next generation technologies. Development environments used and supported include Windows 7, Windows 8, Android and Linux.If the prospect of working on a wide variety of designs that find their way into products used by hundreds of millions of end customers is something that interests you then this could be the career you are looking for! Opportunity Working as a part of a team, as a graduate engineer you will have some or all of the following responsibilities: Developing a common software framework to support varying combinations of hardware components in customer systems Assisting with design and implementation of driver software for existing and future video hardware Architectural and functional documentation Core Competencies The successful candidate will have: Good problem solving skills Able to work both independently and within a team Good communication skills Working Environment The successful candidate will work alongside several colleagues in a small office environment on an expanding campus of around 500 staff, mainly engineers, in Kings Langley.
