Colegio Evangelico Nueva Luz is located in Nagua, on the north coast of the Dominican Republic.Our school is a mixed school offering formal Spanish education to pre-school, elementary, middle and High school students of Nagua area. Our school has 270 students, aged from 3-14. The youngest children - aged 3-5, attend the Guarderia (nursery). Then there are 8 grades of First School (6-14 years), and then 4 High School grades. We started a new Bilingual Project in September 2011, teaching ESL to all students at the College. This is supported by volunteer TEFL teachers, as well as the permanent teaching staff. We aim to encourage the students to value education, to mentor them, and to bring to this area all the improvements delivered by better education. |
