 **MYP Coordinator needed for Al Ain****TOP American School** **Tax FREE salary plus benefits** This international school under the crown prince of Abu Dhabi was established in 2002, currently spread over 3 campuses delivering to Emirati children. The school has about 70% national students and approximately 90% expatriate teachers. The school is currently a candidate IB school in the process of being accredited and is making a transition to this. The school is well resourced with great facilities. it has 2 new purpose built campuses which include ICT suites, footballs fields, indoor fields and swimming pools. The school is looking for a vibrant and dynamic MYP Coordinator to set up and deliver the MYP Curriculum including training, insets, observations. there is very little teaching load with this post as the focus is to ensure that teachers are delivering the very best in line with the MYP curriculum. The lessons taught will be to ensure teachers can shadow the expertise of the Coordinator to maintain a high level of delivery throughout the campus. Al Ain is a quieter Emirate, 45 minutes from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The traffic is less busy and there is still night life. Education in this region is slowly on the increase with standards of education rising. There are UK and USA schools in the region as well as IB schools all competing for the very best in education for its students Salary Package is as follows: **A TAX FREE salary of up to 14800 aed per month based on qualifications and experience **Additional Coorindator of 1000aed for 10 months **FREE Housing, part furnished, size of accommodation is based on application **FREE Medical for employee plus spouse plus up to 3 children **FREE flight **FREE Visa **A baggage allowance of up to 500USD **A utility allowance of 500 aed per month **Tuition for up to 2 children **Gratuity as per UAE labour law **2 year contract renewable on mutual agreement | |

| Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | The minimum requirements to apply are as follows: **M.Ed, B.Ed, or a Maths degree with a teaching qualification **A minimum of 2 years experience (NQt's need not apply) **Native speaker of English **Must be western trained **MUST have experience of setting & moderating the MYP curriculum **Must have experience of carrying out staff insets and training **Up to date with modern teaching standards **Experience of using the IWB and good experience of IT is beneficial |
