Seeking a bright, vibrant, and creative JavaScript developer to join PowerInbox's Boston-based high-performance development team in revolutionizing email and the inbox experience. The candidate will adopt company wide goals aimed at making the customer's inbox experience efficient, realtime, and legendary. We are looking for an engineer with passion, proven experience, and advanced JavaScript skills who has an interest in developing complex, client-side code compatible with all browsers to transform every email client. We value individuals who demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem solving, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills. Ideal candidates will be excited to lead the development of PowerInbox's open app platform by taking ownership of several web application projects, build new features into our platform, and collaborate with co-workers to learn and grow with our company, overcoming challenges and thriving with us in our technology space.

Skills / Industry Qualifications Required:

· Expertise in JavaScript
· Experience using new HTML5 features - local storage, cross domain requests, etc.
· Experience with client-side design patterns and JavaScript coding practices.
· In-depth knowledge of available JavaScript libraries and frameworks, particularly jQuery
· Firm grasp of cross-browser JS and CSS complexities

Desirable experience:
· Browser plugin or extension development experience
· Experience building APIs and libraries
· Experience with other web programming languages (PHP, C#, Java, Ruby, Python)

Required Language Skills:

English - Very good
