Our client, a Trust company is currently looking to recruit a Trust Executive to work in their Malta office.Profile: The Trust Executive will work as a team with the Trust Administrator and effectively manage the administration of a portfolio of matters and deliver a quality service for matters assigned by the Chief Executive Officer. Duties / Responsibilities: • Liaise closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Associate Directors / Client Relationship Officers and Directors with regards to related parties’ requests and queries • Solve any queries received from the London and Hong Kong offices whilst liaising with the Chief Executive Officer in the process, if the need arises • Open accounts with Banks and other financial institutions • Process relevant tasks to achieve withdrawals, fee payments and the monitoring of cash movements • Manage assets, whether portfolio investments or properties • Assist the preparation of Trustee and Director minutes to accurately reflect the management of Trust and Company affairs • Process all other requests that are received • Direct contact with the related parties when the need arises • Liaise with the Chief Executive Officer in case of complex transactions or queries • Management of Total Summary Valuation (TSV) process • Review of TSV at the end of each quarter for all matters assigned to the Team • Update of a Control List for each TSV cycle • On-going liaison with the third party providers (e.g. Insurance companies, Banks and other financial institutions) • Management of the team • Delegation of work and assigning tasks for Trust Administrator • Checking and monitoring the Trust Administrator’s work • Keeping a log of certain activities that occur regularly within the team (e.g. logbook, fee sheet, matter lists, corporate registers, property registers, KYC • Supporting and cross cover other teams when the Trust Executives are not in the office, whilst assisting the Trust Administrators of the respective team • General filing of documentation • Project filing to be concluded as soon as matter is resolved • Performs other duties as assigned • Review files for all matters and ensuring that they are kept up to date • Regular monitoring of internal database • Assist the Accounts Department with general enquiries regarding the update of their accounting system • Monitor that all general office requirements are maintained | |

| Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | • Relevant knowledge of the operation of international companies and trusts • Hold or reading for a University degree, or holding a Diploma in Financial Services or relevant internal experience • Demonstrate ability to manage the portfolio of matters assigned and successfully lead and direct the activities of the Trust Administrator • Work ethically • Excellent communications skills and good command or written and spoken English • Computer literate with good knowledge of MS office |
