 We are currently looking for a person to fill in the Medical Coder ER position based in NY.The Compensation $47k Benefits - Full Commission Compensation - No Bonus Eligible - No Overtime Eligible - No Relocation Assistance Available - No Interview Travel Reimbursed - No Detailed Description Performs diagnostic and procedural coding for Emergency Department medical records. College level courses or equivalent in anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology required. CCS, RHIA or RHIT preferred. Provide evidence of successfully completed coding course in ICD9CM, CPT4, HCPCS, E&M and applicable grouper coding schemes. One year of related ED or facility level E&M coding experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education. | |
