 We are currently looking for a successful candidate to fill in the Chief Medical Officer's position for this 200-bed hospital facility in Dubai, UAE who is seeking excellent Doctors to fullfil a number of their Consultant jobs. MUST BE EXPERIENCED IN COMMISSSIONING/SETTING-UP A BRAND NEW HOSPITAL and must have worked or working for a BIG hospital. A chief medical officer, or CMO, is the senior physician in a hospital or health care setting such as emergency medical services, providing leadership to the medical staff in an executive role. The daily management of care rests with the CMO. 1. Administration The CMO is a liaison between the medical staff and administration and may report to the chief of staff or the chief executive officer. 2. Management A CMO is responsible for coordinating patient care and safety; oversees quality assessment and improvement in the health care programs. Communication between departments is coordinated in order to provide efficient and effective health care. 3. Supervision It is a responsibility of the CMO to supervise physicians and practitioners in a variety of specialties and encourages growth and development of the staff. | Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | The CMO must have an advanced medical degree, such as an M.D. or O.D. (on a Consultant Level); and previous experience in management or leadership roles in the health care profession preferably in a big hospital - Must be native English speakers - Western educated and Board certified - Should have at least minimum five (5) years experience as Chief Medical Officer/Medical Director in a big hospital. - Should have an experience in JCIA process. - Should have managerial training/certification. |
