| Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | Requires a Bachelor's degree in nutrition and two to four years related or in the field experience. Oncology certification is preferred. Must be RD eligible. One year of previous experience in planning and implementing nutrition programs is preferred. One year of clinical nutritionist experience is preferred. Must possess a Nutritional Counselor, Registered Dietitian or Registration thru CDR/Commission dietetic registration. Registration by the American Dietetic Association is preferred. Must possess an upbeat, energetic personality with excellent interpersonal skills. Must have an understanding of the laws and regulations pertaining to food and nutrition licensure and certification activities. Must possess knowledge of the principles of human nutrition and clinical nutrition principles and practices. Must have an understanding of the particular needs of the oncology patients. Must have an organized approach to work with detail orientation and multi-tasking abilities. Must have the ability to work under pressure and be a team player who is capable of forming successful partnerships with other professionals. |
