 SOURCING GLOBALLYURGENT REQUIREMENT ONE TO TWO MONTH CONTRACT Uzbekistan - Ref. DJA2012001 A Microboliogist with specific experience within avian environments or breeding centres is needed for a short term contract in Uzbekistan. DUTIES - BOTH FIELD & OFFICE BASED Observing, monitoring and identifying microorganisms. Tracking microorganisms in a range of environments. Monitoring and accessing samples from a range of sources. Using a variety of identification methods, including molecular techniques to test samples. Developing and planning methods to prevent the spread of disease. Planning, implementing and evaluating new products in clinical trials. Growing microbial cultures. Managing and overseeing laboratory work. Following regular sampling schedules within a specified environment. Collecting samples from different types of environment within assigned location. Maintaining accurate and up to date records. Writing research findings and producing reports. Liasing with collegues from non-scientific departments. REMUNERATION Commensurate with qualifications and experience. | |

| Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Male. Relevant bachelor degree qualification. 7+ years relevant experience, including avian microbiology. Excellent English language communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in report writing. Immediately available. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Conversant with Arabic and/or Russian language. |
