As a home care outreach specialist with AtHome, you will provide education in home services to professionals at skilled nursing facilities, physician practices, estate planners, and other healthcare organizations capable of providing referrals. Your primary task will be to build long term relationships with referral sources tasked with assisting seniors and other individuals with needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing sales leads, while promoting a positive company image in the community. This position requires significant cold call phone sales to relevant referral sources as well as in-person sales visits to future clients and referral professionals. Experience in cold calling, new business development and relationship-based sales will be critical to success in this position. Candidates must be highly self motivated, organized and driven to succeed. Candidates should be comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups. Upon hire, you will be required to make 12-15 outside sales calls per day and run one to two educational in-services per week. In-services are held on-site at the agency and consist of a discussion of our home health care services and how we differentiate ourselves from our competitors. Finally, you will be required to complete each call with a request for patient referrals. Prior experience in relationship based home care sales, home health sales, hospice sales or sales for an assisted living facility is a plus. Salary will be in the form of a base plus a generous commission structure. Salary will be in-line with experience. | |

| Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | Charismatic personality that reflects AtHome's core values of compassion, excellence and integrity. Knowledgeable in the principles of relationship based sales, preferably spin selling. Self directed and capable of staying on task while documenting sales calls, including next steps in electronic contact management software. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook. |
