 GP & Hospital Locum roles | NZ | Short & Long term | BEAUTIFUL locations!There are a variety of roles in New Zealand with a choice of North or South Islands, cosmopolitan city or rural areas plus many more! Please browse a few of our most recent locum roles throughout NZ: NORTH Island: Wellington - SMO cover in Mental Health's Acute Unit (General Adult) 29/10 - 23/11 (4 weeks) Hours are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm No on-call / after hours Wellington - SMO cover 10/9 - 7/12/12 (approx 3 months) Hours are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm No on-call / after hours. 6-8 week locum rural GP solo practice, patient base - 2300, population of town - 5000. Supporting hospital is 22km away. Based in a purpose built medical centre, which house two other solo GP practices, district nursing, physiotherapist, health nurse and dentist. The period required is from the beginning of October to the end of November. South Taranaki - 1 man practice, 31st December and 3+4 January 2013 Tokoroa -August onwards - flexible Hastings - 7th - 25th Jan Whanganui- 4 weeks in Sep Wellington - September Mangere - 20th -31st Aug - $120 NZD per hour Whakatane - 17th - 28th Sep Auckland - The first 2 weeks of Sep, must work Wed but can only work 3 or 4 days Te Puke - 2nd - 12th Oct Matamata - rural, mid Dec - end of Jan 2013 Te Whare Hauora - now - Oct Whangarei - 1st - 12th Oct Taihape - 6 months starting Nov/Dec P/T or F/T, VR GP, house and vehicle offered, Taihape , being rural - 1.5hours from a main centre or hospital, is a busy practice because it deals with accidents and medical emergencies as well acute and chronic illness. The sessions are 8.30-1pm & 2-5.30 pm. We usually have 1.7 FTE GP cover but over the summer this will be reduced because of leave. There are 3 Primary Health Nurses on each day in the clinic and 1 Community Nurse, to support the GPs.
