An internship in the consulting industry is an excellent head start for exploring a myriad of career opportunities through extensive employment market knowledge and trends. You develop strength in character and valuable people skills that are essential for any future career The Associate Consultant plays the important role of assisting the consulting team in fulfilling the commitments to our clients. You will work closely with respective consultants and regional team members across Greater China. The thrust of your work centers on providing accurate, timely answer to research requests. You are responsible for collecting and consolidating information (via cold calling, networking, screening, researching), and conducting fundamental analysis. This includes being able to clarify research needs, identify and gather relevant companies, industries, and economic information from a broad spectrum of appropriate sources, and develop well-synthesized, targeted deliverables for use by the consulting team. Associate Development Programme This programme provides you with on-the-job training with opportunity to participate in critical projects in various industries and regions. You will be: ·Exposed to broad industries with global multi-national corporations ·Develop into an industry specialist in key growth segments: o Healthcare, Consumer & Retail, Manufacturing, Financial Services, IT & Telecom ·Regional transfers to: o Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore Career Growth You will be on this development program in Beijing for 18-24 months, and then you will have a chance to be repatriated to our other offices in China or a region of your industry specialization. Our high potential consultants go through a Fast Track Leadership Programme over a 3 to 5 year period, and gain direct access and visibility to the leadership team.
