| You will be responsible for core and custom network infrastructure network device configuration and deployment as engineered by the senior IP Services Engineer. Responsibilities include: Working with Sales Engineering and customers to create highly available and scalable network connectivity solutions. Reviewing and evaluating vendor hardware, software and technologies to provide resilient solutions. Evaluating, testing, designing and architecting core networking infrastructure. Performing quarterly configuration review to validate the functionality of failover and redundant configuration on all shared/core networking devices. Updating Visio diagram(s) and providing detailed design documentation on datacenter design, connectivity, disaster recovery and failover strategies. Executing of network changes. Pre and Post verification of all networking changes. Creating Opsware scripts to standardize configuration for networking devices. | |
| Position Requirements | |
| Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | 5+ years of network experience with Cisco routers and switches. Advance level understanding and experience with routing and switching technologies. Advance level understanding and experience with 802.1q, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN Advance level understanding and experience with routing protocols, specifically BGP, OSPF and EIGRP Advance level understanding and experience with firewall and load balancer technologies. Advance level understanding and experience with IPSEC VPN(s) tunnels. Experience with high availability environment with 99.99% SLA Prefer experience with Cisco’s Private VLAN technology. Prefer experience with MPLS routing and switching. Prefer experience with VRF-Lite deployment using Cisco routers/switches. Prefer experience with hardware load balancers, preferably Citrix NetScaler. What's in it for You?
