We provide career management services and opportunities. Our client is looking for a senior level Project Manager for a permanent position. The Project Manager will manage the day to day execution of one or more projects. The Project Manager will conduct activities to plan, monitor, adjust and control the projects within constraints of budget, time, resources and technology. This ensures that the solution meets client requirements, and is delivered on time and within budget. It includes the management of development, testing, implementation and support of application software. Project Manager will report through and be supported by a Project Management Office structure. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: -Preparing and executing program and/or project plans. -Establishing and operating control processes including schedule management, status reporting, issues, risk and change management. -Closely monitoring project activities and taking corrective action to ensure project schedules are being met. -Assigning work and managing project team members, mentoring and providing direction as required. -Requirements Gathering -Producing deliverables within specified quality standards. -Escalating issues and risks, as appropriate. -Communicating project status and issues, as appropriate. Desirables: -Experience with modeling tools. -Experience with enterprise component projects. -Experience with PMI/PMBOK. -Experience with COBIT. -Experience with ITIL. | Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | -Extensive experience working in a Information and Communication Technology environment. -Strong experience using MS Project or other project management tool. -Experience with projects spanning the full systems development lifecycle. -Experience with project life cycle methodologies. -Experience in Requirements Gathering. -Experience working on multiple projects at one time. -Experience leading complex (multi-stakeholder and multi-technology) projects. -Experience leading multi-million dollar projects. -Experience leading projects that deliver solutions across multiple technical environments. -Demonstrated experience establishing and/or operating the following project control processes on multiple projects: schedule management, issue management, risk management, status reporting, change control, budget/effort management. -Experience with projects having aggressive project schedules. -Experience with risk and quality management processes. -Excellent written and oral communication skills in a business environment. |
