In 2003, the customer response and enthusiasm for Christmas Tree Shops captured the attention of domestics and home furnishings market leader, Bed Bath & Beyond. The purchase of Christmas Tree Shops by Bed Bath & Beyond later that year confirmed the broad appeal and enormous growth potential of the Christmas Tree Shops brand and operating model in both new and existing markets in the United States. Today, Christmas Tree Shops operates 41 stores in 10 states ranging in size up to 58,000 square feet. Christmas Tree Shops opened 6 new stores in 2006 and 5 in 2007. This year, the growth of Christmas Tree Shops will continue with additional new stores (12 - 16 planned), a second state of the art distribution center, and many new job opportunities in its Stores, Distribution Centers, and Corporate Office.
