Near to any residential areas: convenience stores; supermarkets; bread shops; chocolate and candy stores; Sultan Centers (which specialize in carrying Western foods and products); a guillion barber shops; tons of pharmacies; Domino`s Pizza; Little Caesar’s Pizza; Popeye’s Chicken and Biscuits; Applebee`s; Burger King; McDonald`s; Pizza Hut; Hardees’s; Cinnamon; a donut shop; many Chinese, Indian, South Asian, Iranian, Thai, and Arabic restaurants; several movie theaters; several shopping malls; shopping areas (with clothing, electronics, etc. Stores); north- and south-bound buses; a couple of Internet Cafés; amusement parks with rides; outdoor restaurants and cafés; full-service workout gyms at the nearby Hilton Resort and elsewhere close by; several clinics; several hospitals; parks; a police station; the beautiful waters of The Persian Gulf as well as its beaches (right across the street); and more! Venturing outside our neighborhood can take you to establishments such as Sears, ACE Hardware Store, True Value Hardware Store, IKEA, GNC, The Vitamin Shoppe, Marks and Spencer, Landmark, Debenhams, Johnny Rockets, Fuddruckers, Chili’s, TGI Friday’s,... The “Coming Soon" Dunkin’ Donuts,...” etceteras.
Activities throughout Kuwait include horseback riding; swimming; ice skating; [scuba] diving; boating; going out on dhow (which are traditional Arab sailing ships) cruises; visiting museums, the aquarium, nearby islands, etc.; joining an INCREDIBLE variety of clubs that can SURELY match one or more of your pastimes; attending concerts; desert camping; and very many other things |
