| IT Human Resources plc Announce Another Year of Record Growth
IT Human Resources plc, one of the UK’s leading independent human capital resourcing and software solutions group have announced their fully audited results for the year ended 31st March 2008. Group turnover increased by some 48% for the year to £13.2m, gross operating margins increased 81% to £3.4m and profit before tax increased in excess of 1,000%.
Individually, ITHR’s Recruitment Services arm increased turnover by some 42% to near £9.5m, while the Consulting Services arm increased in excess of 67% to £3.7m. Net cash increased during the year by some £1.7m.
Sean Gallagher, Managing Director commenting on the announcement said: “The last 12 months have been another fantastic year for us at ITHR, as well as being another record breaking performance. All areas of our businesses have performed exceptionally well, both in the UK and Internationally.
It is a testament to our strategies that the board implemented in 2006/7 in response to some internal business challenges - in short, “growing pains” - that we find ourselves in such a strong position, both trading wise and cash-flow wise. The net effect of those strategies is now being seen and is in no small way due to the quality and professionalism at the very heart of our corporate ethos and instilled in the quality and professionalism of our staff.
ITHR is now a strong trading brand, recognised in the market as a top 250 UK Human Resourcing organisation and a top 60 IT Human Resourcing organisation(1) with a solid financial base. With continuing operations trading even stronger in 2008 we are now looking to implement a strategy for future growth, which may not be limited to our 100% organic growth strategy since our inception in 1999”.
