| For more than 30 years, Govinda Gallery has been home to the premier exhibits of budding artists of various media. Director Chris Murray has directed the mission of the gallery toward championing Musical and Popular Culture Photography as an artistic genre. He was involved in the Pop Art movement through his friendships with pop icons Andy Warhol and Chris Makos. Chris Murray has launched the careers of such noted artists as Annie Leibowitz, musicians Ronnie Wood and Donovan, and continues to work with noted photographers and photojournalists from TIME, LIFE, Rolling Stone and more. |
