| Job Description: |
- To handle supervision of mechanical and body repair and maintenance for a fleet of more than 50 heavy vehicles, mostly hydraulic machines.
- To maximize the resources available and the level of quality in the workshop.
- To maximize potential revenue through accurately claiming for warranty work, and repairs by insurance claims.
- To manage mechanical team to ensure maximum levels of personal performance through appraisals, performance management, communication, coaching & development, training and disciplinary matters.
- To maintain accurate, complete and up to date records of statistics on the productivity and efficiency of the workshop, and production of weekly performance reports for Senior Management.
- To be in touch with Vehicle Agents and Parts suppliers for best prices, availability and timely deliveries to ensure timely repairs and cost reduction.

Skills Required:: |
The Candidate should have a minimum: Relevant degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 5 years experience of Workshop Management, Office and site experience, Previously held a similar position, Experience of working with a demanding environment, Capable of programming and planning, Ability to produce reports, Capable of working with minimum supervision, Good literacy and numeracy skills essential, Ability to meet deadlines and targets, Excellent communications skills, leadership skills, team skills, personal organization skills, disciplinary management skills, and managing relationships.
