Quality Control (QC) Manager – MEP - Doha, Qatar
Ref: – 3956
Based on the New Doha International Airport Project, Qatar.
The Role:
Development and monitoring of the Company`s Management System (review of procedures, quality control records).
Leads the QC engineers, QC Inspectors and provide assistance in any quality system matters applied to the project.
Provides guidance and assistance to all site staff with respect to any aspect of the management system applied to the project.
Performs spot checks on the works and on the quality records for compliance with the procedures and Inspection and Test Plans. Co-ordinates with the independent inspection company.
Maintains document registers in connection with quality records. Assists project staff in the preparation of quality documentation, such as method statements, inspection & test plans and work procedures, quality plans for special processes.
Monitors and reports the effectiveness of the project quality system through formal internal audits.
Ensures by random checks and by audits that the documents used in the work section by the JV staff and by the subcontractors are controlled according to the Document Control procedures.
Ensures implementation of the Quality Control System by the subcontractors. Perform audits, where required, of suppliers and subcontractors. Provides detailed guidance, instruction and training in all aspects of the applied quality system to project staff.
Requirements:
You will have MEP (mechanical / electrical) experience in Quality Control Management on large scale million dollar projects.
You will have to be an excellent team player who is highly skilled and oriented towards continuous learning and improvement.
You will also have to enjoy working with colleagues coming from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.
About the Company:
Joint Venture responsible for the delivery of package cp – 11 (the airline support facilities), a part of the New Doha International Airport (NDIA). It is composed by four leading contractors who operate within Europe and the Gulf area.
